  1. I use positive reinforcement to work with all dogs.

  2. I am certified in Pet First Aid.

  3. My business is fully insured and proof of insurance coverage is available upon request.

  4. I am currently completing my Canine Behaviour, Handling Skills, and Instructor Certification through the Cochrane and Area Humane Society’s Positive Approach Canine Education (PACE) program. I have completed my PACE final exam, receiving 84% on this five hour exam. (It’s like the Canine GMAT!) I am currently completing my requirements (in North America) for the Canine Professional Dog Trainer Certification (CPDT_KA) and adhere to their Code of Ethics, which can be read here: http://www.ccpdt.org/about-us/code-of-ethics/

  5. I have over 300 hours of supervised canine training and education service at the Cochrane and Area Humane Society in addition to my studies as part of the PACE program.

  6. I am a member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers. Through this membership I keep up on my canine skills and education.

  7. I currently do not have a dog in my life and am available to give all my attention to your dog. (I do have a husband, also a dog lover, but he knows he comes second to dogs!)

  8. I have a clean RCMP Criminal Record Check for working with vulnerable populations.

  9. I accept payment in cash, cheque, or e-transfer.
