You can not go wrong by engaging Donna Barrett to help you with your dog. She has not quite taught our one year old Miniature Schnauzer how to speak English, although that only be a matter of time, but she has taught us a great deal about interpreting Tessa’s doggy language. During our training sessions, Donna clearly explained her objectives and how her lessons matched the stages of puppy development. Donna also showed us how Tessa's reactions to new or different situations could give us clues to her personality. She has helped us to develop good practices when working with a puppy, and has given us lots of tips and techniques to help keep Tessa happy.
Tessa is the third dog to have been part of our family. Each one was a different breed and each had their own unique personalities and challenges. This is the first time we have employed a trainer and Donna's assistance with Tessa has made navigating the early months of puppyhood so much easier. We are also convinced that the positive reinforcement methodology that Donna has taught us will help with Tessa’s ongoing evolution into a first-class canine companion.
