Jack - Training Client

Kerry and I had our soulmate dog for 14 years and he meant so much to us, we recently had to put tiny Joey down. We decided another dog could never replace Joey so we did the opposite of a lapdog and got a German Shorthaired Pointer... the ultimate athlete, enter Jack.

It became very apparent we were out of our league with training such an intelligent, demanding and active dog. Donna at Polite Pups immediately put us at ease with her calm, confident demeanor.

Donna definitely understands how to relate to pooches and jumped right in at teaching us how to relate to Jack. We were continually provided explanations on what dog body language to watch for, in fact we received cue cards at every session as a reference to what we had learned. Donna's approach was timely each week with the progression we were seeing with Jack. Donna made herself available at any time for our questions and concerns by sending her off a quick note.
Jack is now 4 months old, we have had him two months. He has recall, he is potty trained, he has a repertoire of commands well underway. Donna introduced many games, tricks, agility tests, dog body language to watch for and how to get our dogs attention. We wouldn't even be close to this success had we not engaged her services.

Thank you Donna, you have made the experience of getting a "real dog" a pleasure. I believe strongly you have set us up to have Jack live a symbiotic life in our home with us, everyday we see real changes in him now. I know now if we put to use what we have been taught, Jack can learn anything.
