Fitz & Spot - Training Clients

We engaged Donna after learning about her from a friend. We had recently lost our 17-year-old dog and had two new puppies that were pretty close in age. Though we are reasonably experienced dog owners, it had been a long time since we dealt with puppy training and some of what we did remember was undoubtedly out of date as I know training techniques evolve.

Donna clearly loves what she does and keeps up with current techniques as well as making an instant connection with our dogs. We learned so much and she was able to quickly explain the issues we had been having and made suggestions to correct them that made an immediate impact.

The training was fun and doing short training practice with our dogs between visits was easy. Donna’s training techniques are completely built on positive reinforcement. I really believe this approach has led to our dogs trusting us and therefore, being better behaved when we ask for their compliance, as well as making our relationship with our dogs closer, more loving and fun. I would (and have) recommended Donna to work through issues with a dog, or just to head off problems from the start with a new family pet.
